Why is it so long between litters?

We are a small kennel.

Legacy Kennels is a small, family owned business.  
We own and breed all our own dogs and sell only
to good, individual homes.

Therefore we do not have puppies available year-round.
We will continue to do our best to supply as many happy,
healthy puppies as we can while still maintaining the quality, privacy,
and personal touch of a small business.

Even though the number of puppies we have here is limited,
I am sometimes able to advise customers of other reputable breeders.
